Abstract Scope |
In order to perform a fatigue approach different methods are available. Due to graduated properties the local strain concept should be the first choice. Therefor the material behavior is descripted by a stress-strain curve and a strain-life curve. In order to develop a digital twin the influences on these to curves have to be quantified. In case of Inconel®718 the results of an experimental sensitivity analysis will be discussed including the influence of microstructure, support structures, lightning strategy and heat treatment with respect to the building direction. In order to decrease the number of fatigue tests as well as to analyze the influence of the maximum applied stress amplitude Incremental Step Tests with different maximum amplitudes are performed. The resulting cyclic stress-strain curve as well as the fatigue life will be discussed focused on a digital twin for the fatigue assessment of additive manufactured components. |
