| Abstract Scope |
This talk will show examples of in situ TEM heating and straining experiments in 2D materials where we can investigate both the strain-driven reconfiguration of twisted bilayers as well as the intercalation of guest species in both graphene and twisted Moire structures. We demonstrate both mechanical reconfiguration of large-scale moiré soliton networks in twisted double bilayer and trilayer graphene (tDBLG/tDTLG) and the interaction of guest species with intrinsic defects and the moire reconfiguration of the twisted bilayers. |
