| Abstract Scope |
3D printing is widely recognized for its ability to create complex parts with high precision. However, the use of petroleum-derived plastics raises environmental concerns, driving the search for more sustainable alternatives. This study explores the incorporation of natural fibers, such as sugarcane bagasse and palm, into composites produced by stereolithography (SLA), a high-precision technology. The objective is to understand how these fibers influence the mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties of the materials, while also evaluating processing feasibility and positive environmental impacts. The research was conducted through a bibliometric and systematic review, analyzing recent literature within the Scopus, PubMed, and Web of Science databases. The selected papers address diverse aspects of natural fiber applications in 3D printing, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of both the potential and the challenges of this sustainable approach. |
