| Abstract Scope |
Wearable biosensors enable continuous acquisition of physiological data from patients in real-world settings, including at home and during daily activities. While most existing sensors are rigid, advances in flexible and skin-conformable electronics now allow simultaneous measurement of multiple physiological parameters in a comfortable, body-adaptive form factor. Despite this progress, few wearable devices are designed specifically for children or individuals with congenital heart disease. This discussion highlights the unique challenges and emerging opportunities for flexible and conformable wearable electronics in these populations. |
