Abstract Scope |
Dimensional accuracy impacts the mechanical performance of ceramics produced by Binder Jet Printing. This study investigates the structural integrity of binder-jetted alumina samples, printed into simple prismatic geometries with a solvent-based binder and a modified binder solution. Samples were analyzed to identify geometric deviations in efficiency through microscopy measurements. The objective is to determine the feasibility of Al2O3printed with the binder, identify optimal geometries and processing conditions that improve part fidelity. The findings aim to provide insights into the design and manufacturing of high-strength ceramic parts using binder jetting technology. |
