Abstract Scope |
High entropy alloys (HEAs) have known by their attractive mechanical properties such as high strength and hardness, excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, superior high temperature mechanical properties. This current study focuses on synthesis and development of non-equiatomic
Al-Co-Cr-Fe-Ni-(Ti/Nb) HEAs and investigated the effect of Nb and Ti on the
phase formation, microstructure and mechanical properties of nonequiatomic Al-Co-Cr-Fe-Ni HEAs using combined characterization techniques including X-ray diffraction(XRD), optic microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), hardness and tensile
testing. The study will present and discuss the structure and mechanical properties of non-equiatomic Al-Co-Cr-Fe-Ni-(Ti/Nb) HEAs. |
