Abstract: Steelmaking–continuous casting scheduling is a complex problem coupling discrete heat operations with continuous casting. In practice, static scheduling is constrained by casting continuity, process sequence, equipment availability, and the tapping-to-casting cycle, aiming to generate a production Gantt chart. With refined energy management, the influence of schedules on energy-media systems becomes evident: BOF waste-heat steam generation and VD steam consumption have distinct time-window characteristics, and their temporal mismatch may cause accumulator pressure fluctuations, steam venting, or increased external steam supply. To address the limitation that existing static scheduling emphasizes material-flow feasibility while energy-flow coordination is mostly post-evaluated, this paper proposes a static scheduling method coupled with BOF–VD steam coordination. BOF generation and VD consumption windows are projected into discrete time buckets to evaluate steam shortage, supply–demand deviation, and pressure risk. Industrial data show that the risk score decreases from 70.25 to 42.98 while schedule feasibility is maintained. |
