| Abstract Scope |
Oseir Ltd. has released the HiWatch family of particle sensors that have unique capabilities for in-flight particle detection in cold spray processes, including standard coating and additive manufacturing (AM) applications.
The most recent HiWatch CS-Q sensor provides the "full time, full plume" capability that is suited for continuous spray process monitoring. This provides special value for the cold spray operator to maintain their awareness of the process status over the whole spray duration.
We present some novel findings and new suggestions for evaluating the spray condition based on particle data provided by the CS-Q sensor, and give an overview of Oseir's planned future development in cold spray process diagnostics. |
