| Abstract Scope |
As the power electronics landscape evolves, Niobium (Nb) based nanocrystalline soft magnetic materials (Fe-Si-B-Cu-Nb) are leading technological advancements, particularly in the e-mobility sector and AI Data centre. This talk will present a comprehensive technical roadmap of these cutting-edge materials, emphasizing their transformative impact on common mode chokes (CMC) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) filters used in onboard chargers and inverters. Additionally, I will provide an overview of emerging nanocrystalline-based powder Inductors for the AI Servers POL (point- of -load).
Niobium based Nanocrystalline soft magnetic materials are renowned for their exceptional magnetic properties, including high permeability, low core losses, and impressive thermal stability. These attributes make them ideal for high-frequency applications and compact power supply designs. With the growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs), the need for efficient, reliable power management solutions has never been more critical.
