| Abstract Scope |
Ag2Se is a small band-gap n-type semiconductor exhibiting high ion mobility and ultra-low lattice thermal conductivity. The TE performance of Ag2Se is improved by introducing the diluting extrinsic doping. Most importantly, instead of relying on crystal growth techniques, high-purity Ag2Se bulks with improved thermoelectric performance are synthesized using a rapid method that holds the potential for large-scale production. This approach allows for the efficient and cost-effective synthesis of Ag2Se materials. |
