Abstract Scope |
Optimizing anode composition has been identified as a potential method to improve efficiency and operational stability in the aluminum electrolysis process. This study evaluates the effects of specific modifications to the anode formulation on its physical properties and their influence on overall process performance. The implemented changes led to a measurable improvement in apparent anode density, increasing from 1.601 g/cm³ in 2022 to 1.612 g/cm³ in 2025. However, despite the progress, challenges persist in achieving consistent control over other critical parameters, particularly electrical resistivity. These findings highlight both the potential and the limitations of recipe-based adjustments in enhancing anode quality and process reliability. |
