Abstract Scope |
High-entropy alloy was investigated for its potential in Ku-band microwave absorption. Spherical powders were fabricated via thermal spraying, and particle size was precisely controlled. Fine particles (10–25 μm) enhanced magnetic permeability and improved impedance matching. With complex permittivity analysis, a reflection loss below −40 dB and a bandwidth of ~4 GHz were achieved. Magnetic analysis showed that coercivity and saturation magnetization could be adjusted to optimize eddy current loss and enhance absorption performance. The results reveal how particle size influences electromagnetic properties and microwave absorption, providing guidance for the design of high-frequency absorbing materials. |
