| Abstract Scope |
Deep-space missions and advanced terrestrial grids both require energy storage systems that are highly efficient, lightweight, and capable of operating under extreme temperature swings. This paper explores the development of new chemical structures designed to optimize battery performance while lowering manufacturing costs. By adjusting the chemical composition of electrolyte materials, I investigate how to maximize ion transport and energy density in harsh conditions. This research uses basic material characterization to analyze how these new substances prevent energy loss and resist freezing or overheating. Finding more efficient chemical formulations allows us to build smaller, lighter power systems, which drastically cuts down on spacecraft payload weight and lowers renewable energy storage costs on Earth. Ultimately, these advanced energy materials provide a reliable and affordable blueprint for power management on long-duration space voyages and green terrestrial grids. |
