| Abstract Scope |
Over the past four decades, nanostructured materials have been at the forefront of materials science and engineering, with significant emphasis placed on the size-dependent effects that govern their properties. In recent years, we have increasingly focused on the synergistic interactions among different structural components, leading to the development of superstructured materials as a promising platform for energy conversion and storage.
In this talk, I will highlight the design and synthesis of advanced materials, spanning from nanomaterials to superstructured materials (PNAS 2022, 119, e2208750119; PNAS 2023, 120, e2219950120; PNAS 2024, 121, e2314996121). He will also summarize the critical roles of these novel materials in the development of next-generation energy devices, including superstructured fuel cells, superstructured supercapacitors, dye-sensitized solar cells, perovskite solar cells, and batteries. |
