| Abstract Scope |
The use of Artificial intelligence (AI) has expanded exponentially in recent years, and if it can be integrated into the aluminium manufacturing sector, it has the potential to revolutionize production processes and enhance efficiency. The application of AI comes with significant challenges and opportunities, and this paper explores some of the “do’s” and “don’t” of employing AI in aluminium manufacturing and development, through a review of current industry practices and example case-studies.This paper addresses the changing role of consultancy firms such as Innoval Technology, and their place in the future of aluminium manufacturing, when AI promises innovations in process optimization, predictive maintenance and quality control improvements. |
