Abstract Scope |
Bragg Coherent X-ray Diffraction Imaging (BCDI) has emerged as a powerful characterization tool for three-dimensional nanoscale imaging of crystalline materials. Because of unique sensitivity to lattice, BCDI has been employed to visualize both morphology and internal lattice distortion of various samples. The integration of in-situ/operando capabilities into BCDI allows for more realistic studies, enabling the investigation of material evolution under operational conditions.
In this presentation, I will discuss the latest advancements in BCDI and share recent experimental results obtained at the 34-ID-C beamline of the Advanced Photon Source. In-situ/operando BCDI has successfully captured the distribution and dynamics of strain and defects in nano-scaled materials. As upgraded synchrotrons deliver brilliant coherent X-ray photons, BCDI will provide more detailed insights into the characteristics of samples. This talk will introduce future prospects and potential advancements in in-situ/operando BCDI. |
