| Abstract Scope |
We consider the problem of estimating the grain boundary normal distribution from planar trace. We review existing methods and compare them to a newly developed method which promises to be faster, more accurate and to provide higher resolution. Furthermore, we investigate the uncertainty of the estimated density function. |
