| Abstract Scope |
In 2024, the refractory metals community lost Todd Leohardt of Rhenium Alloys. Reviewing Todd's career, his contributions advanced the frontiers in the technological applications and processing of refractory metals with an emphasis on Rhenium. Supporting university students while sharing knowledge to all within his sphere of influence. His contributions beyond the refractory metal world as he influences extends to powder metallurgy and metallography. We will be remembering Todd's steadfast personality and contributions in advancing the science and technology. |
