Abstract Scope |
GRX810 is a nickel-based alloy explicitly developed for additive manufacturing. It has adequate strength at high temperatures, making it a material worth considering for structural components in extreme environments. This study focused on evaluating GRX-810 across five different LPBF machines. In this study, all specimens underwent hot isostatic pressing (HIP). The specimens consisted of angled walls at 45, 50, 60, 75, and 90 degrees relative to vertical, from which tensile specimens were machined and tested. Comparisons of the results across the various angled walls in each plate will provide insight into the repeatability of material properties and help assess the reproducibility across the different LPBF machines, which will be presented at the end of this presentation. |
