| Abstract Scope |
Integrated computational materials engineering (ICME) has emerged as a cornerstone strategy for accelerating the discovery and commercialization of advanced materials. This work presents the Rapid Alloy Discovery (RAD) platform, which integrates Artificial Intelligence with multi-scale-based simulations to streamline the design of alloys and composites. RAD systematically navigates complex compositional and process parameter spaces to identify candidates satisfying engineering constraints. By bridging the gap between atomic-scale interactions and macroscopic component performance, the framework virtually validates materials to minimize experimental uncertainty. This approach not only optimizes performance metrics but also directly addresses critical industrial challenges. We discuss the application of this methodology in designing proprietary solutions that transition from digital concepts to market-ready products. Ultimately, this platform demonstrates a robust pathway for empowering industrial sectors with superior, sustainable materials, significantly compressing the timeline from discovery to commercialization. |
