| Abstract Scope |
During the blast furnace ironmaking process, injecting hydrogen-rich gas can effectively reduce the pulverized coal rate, coke ratio, and fuel ratio, thereby reducing CO2 emissions. The thermodynamic mechanism of the combustion reaction in the blast furnace hearth during the hydrogen-rich gas injection process was studied. The change and tendency of the gas components in the hearth were analyzed, and measures for regulating the amount of hearth gas and the theoretical combustion temperature were proposed. The indirect reduction process under the condition of hydrogen-rich gas injection in the blast furnace was analyzed, and the metallurgical behavior and evolution mechanism of hydrogen in the blast furnace were studied. Industrial experiment of hydrogen-rich gas injection in blast furnaces were carried out for verification, and the optimization technical approach of the hydrogen-rich gas injection process in blast furnaces was proposed. |
