Abstract Scope |
3D printing filaments made of polylactic acid (PLA) with different concentrations of coffee ground waste were made for use in fused deposition modeling. Contents of 1, 2.5, 5.0, and 10wt% were made by a filament extruded. Samples were tested under tensile loads and characterized with scanning electron and optical microscopies. Density, porosity, and chemical characterization was also included. Results show that this waste is very feasible to be used in several products with the appropriate particle size. Some samples made with the 3D printing and the fabricate filaments are shown |
