| Abstract Scope |
The deformation response of high-strength and high-ductility multi-phase alloys is complicated to understand, due to microstructural strain partitioning and strain localization processes, that eventually lead to the activation of ductile or brittle damage micro-mechanisms. Here in this talk, an overview will be provided of recent results from multi-phase titanium alloys and steels, to provide more insights regarding these processes. |
