Abstract Scope |
Improving recycled content is an important lever in aluminum production both for reducing energy consumption and lowering product carbon footprints. As suppliers and customers work towards meeting their sustainability goals, consistent and accurate reporting of the recycled content of purchased goods is increasingly becoming an expectation across the aluminum value chain. As a leading producer of aluminum products, Arconic continues to actively engage customers and industry groups to drive alignment around the methodology for calculating recycled content. This report provides perspectives around recycled content calculation methodologies and highlights key activities in Arconic to improve scrap usage and increase recycled content. |
