Abstract Scope |
In this work, aluminotitanium coatings were obtained using functionally active blends that were applied to parts of coke oven machines in the sulfate department. When alloyed with titanium, alitized coatings on steel with 0.20% carbon form the following phases: Fe2Al5, Fe3Al, alloyed Ti, TiAl, Ti3Al, Fe2Ti, and a solid solution of Ti and Al in Fe; on steel with 0.45% carbon: phases: (Cr,Fe)23C6, Fe2Al5, Fe3Al, alloyed Ti, TiAl3, Ti3Al, TiAl. The voltammetry method was used to determine the relative corrosion resistance of structural materials. At a potential of +0.1 volt, the maximum anode dissolution current decreases to +0.8 V and a current of 0.8 mA/cm2 (in a 15% aqueous solution of sulfuric acid). The corrosion rate is 55-10-5-22-10-6A/m2. The protective effect of alitized coatings is 91-99%. |
