| Abstract Scope |
The presentation will detail how we deliberately and strategically transformed an undergraduate engineering curriculum (Metallurgical Engineering) to include STEAM integration through metal, glass and ceramic components. The STEAM curricular development was paired with targeted outreach and co-curricular programming. The presentation will be discussed in terms of recruiting, retaining and improving the quality of STEM professionals. Finally, a detailed assessment of the overall STEAM program will be offered. |
