| Abstract Scope |
Cellulose acetate (CA) extracted from discarded cigarette filters was systematically characterized and compared with commercial CA to assess its applicability in high-performance optoelectronic devices. When applied as an interfacial layer in NiO/CA/MAPbI₃/PCBM/BCP/Au perovskite solar cells, the upcycled CA enabled a high power conversion efficiency of 20.93%. These findings demonstrate that cigarette-filter-derived CA can serve as a functional, sustainable interlayer material, offering strong potential for next-generation perovskite optoelectronic applications. |
