| Abstract Scope |
This study optimizes and verifies the performance of GeTe-based thermoelectric modules for medium-temperature applications. Sb and Cu co-doping improved zT to 1.4 at 623 K, and the module efficiency reached 5.4% under ΔT = 400 K. Heat flow analysis revealed a notable radiation heat contribution, which must be considered to avoid efficiency overestimation. Moreover, device ZT efficiency was adopted over average zT to better reflect actual performance. These efforts enable a more accurate evaluation of energy conversion efficiency and contribute to the practical development of thermoelectric devices. |
