| Abstract Scope |
The general dependence of the formation of the strengthening γʹ-phase on the total Ti+Al content in heat-resistant nickel alloys of various strengthening systems has been studied. The prerequisites for the reduction of plastic and heat-resistant properties depending on excessive alloying with chromium, tungsten and molybdenum of the ЖС6У-ВІ alloy have been studied. The possibility of phase transformations with the formation of topologically close-packed phases, lamellar carbides and other phases in the studied alloys has been established by computational and analytical methods. Microstructural studies confirmed the precipitation of the eutectic γ-γ'-phase in the form of a "white border" along the thickened grain boundaries in the alloy without yttrium. It was established that modifying the ЖС6У-ВІ alloy with a nickel-yttrium alloy in an amount of 0.136% of the metal loading in the crucible allows for the formation of thin grain boundaries without visible precipitation of the eutectic γ-γ'-phase and other undesirable phases. |
