| Abstract Scope |
A roadmap is presented for in situ mechanical testing during x-ray tomography at high temperature testing 1200C and beyond. The talk is separated into two parts. First, a universal testing system with a 1 micron runout, rotating load train is presented. Reconstruction algorithms for correcting runout are also presented, enabling future high resolution DVC metrology. Crucially, the design includes a 4 degree of freedom alignment fixture. The rotating load train enables access for high temperature systems. Advantages and experiences from furnace, laser, and induction heating are compared and contrasted. |
