Abstract Scope |
The appropriate addition of aluminum fluoride(AlF₃) is crucial for maintaining the stable composition of the electrolyte in the electrolysis cell and ensuring its efficient and stable operation. A reasonable aluminum fluoride addition is not only necessary for sustaining the electrolyte composition but also a key approach to achieving favorable technical and economic indicators while reducing the consumption of aluminum fluoride.This paper analyzed the intrinsic relationships among cell control data, raw material inspection data, and field measurement data. Based on production practices, factors influencing aluminum fluoride addition were investigated and quantitatively analyzed. This led to the development of a determination method for aluminum fluoride addition, which substantially enhanced the qualification rate and consistency of the bath ratio. This provides a reliable guarantee for the efficient and low-consumption operation of the electrolysis cells. |
