| Abstract Scope |
This work challenges the assumption that a true circular economy violates thermodynamic laws. Pablo Dias, CTO of SOLARCYCLE, presents new data showing that the solar industry can achieve functional circularity within this generation. Combining material learning rates, recycling innovation, and large-scale deployment, Dias’s research demonstrates that recycled silver from end-of-life panels could meet 100% of new demand by 2037. The talk situates these findings within broader industrial and planetary contexts, illustrating how circularity can scale across sectors. It is both a technical exploration and a call to action for engineers, policymakers, and sustainability professionals. |
