| Abstract Scope |
Flexible triboelectric devices need materials with good dielectric properties, favorable interfacial interaction, and mechanical flexibility. In this study, we focus on developing a facile way to fabricate a flexible triboelectric nanogenerator using polyimide as the substrate and a hybrid MXene/perovskite composite as the active layer. MXene nanosheets provide high electrical conductivity and a large surface area, whereas Perovskite particles improve the dielectric constant and polarization. Together, they enhance charge separation and charge storage during triboelectric contact, leading to higher output performance.
Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) will be used to study the surface morphology, roughness, and adhesion force of MXene flakes on polyimide. Adhesion on polyimide will be compared with that on glass. This comparison will help explain differences in interfacial bonding, film uniformity, and mechanical stability. We also explore how substrate-dependent adhesion affect triboelectric performance. The results will help design better, flexible, and wearable self-powered devices. |
