Presentation Title Design of Novel Biocomposites for Advanced Functional Applications

Abstract Scope There is an urgent need for novel lightweight materials for electric vehicles. In this presentation, I will present some of the recent research from my group on designining biocomposites. In part-A, I will discuss novel bioplastics which can be used for designing composites. In part-B, I will discuss novel lignin-based composites which can be used for energy storage. Detailed characterization including microstructure and thermal characterization will be presented.
