| Abstract Scope |
Low temperature growth strategies for MAX and MAB phases are reviewed. Differences and similarities in phase formation as well as in thermal stabiliy are discussed and the formation of structural and compositional defects is explored theoretically and experimentally. Finally, it is demonstrated that resistivity data is useful for tracking phase transitions in charge density modulated nanolaminates. |
