Abstract Scope |
The growing demand for operational efficiency in bauxite mining has driven the adoption of automation tools. This paper presents a case study titled “From Manual Routine to Automated Efficiency: A Case Study in Operational Optimization”, applied to mine planning and field monitoring routines in the bauxite mining process. Scripts were developed to automate both the creation of operational projects and plans, as well as the measurement of activities performed in the field. This solution transforms previously manual processes into structured, agile tasks with reduced susceptibility to errors. Additionally, the scripts automatically consolidate information into a centralized database, enabling real-time generation of reports and dashboards. As a result, there was a significant reduction in working hours, increased data accuracy, and improved decision-making processes, demonstrating concrete gains in productivity, reliability, and operational efficiency within bauxite mining operations. |
