| Abstract Scope |
Handheld laser welding is one of the latest advancements in the welding industry. While traditional welding PPE and safety requirements are well understood, there are different considerations for training, safety and PPE that are required with the handheld laser process. The higher power densities open new doors for changing the joint configuration while simultaneously reducing the post weld operations. We will highlight specific applications unique to the handheld laser welding process and the benefits that the Miller® OptX™ Handheld Laser Welder provides. |
