| Abstract Scope |
In the era of 5G and Internet of Things, there are lots of sensors and wearable electronics demanding a large scale of energy. Currently, the lithium and chemical batteries are used to provide the power for their work with the shortcomings of frequent charging and environmental pollution. On the other hand, masses of small energy are wasted in the low-frequency scenes such as the human motions, slow shaking, droplet energy, etc. Accordingly, the new technology of triboelectric nanogenerator, also named TENG, is created and applied to high-efficiently harvest the wasted energy and thansfer them into electricity. The TENG works based on the coupled effects of triboelectrification and electrostatic induction and it can serves as an energy harvester with the widespread applications in the micro/nano-energy,ocean energy, self-powered sensors and the high-voltage conditions, showing a great potential in dealing with the distributed energy demands of sensors and wearable electronics. |
