| Abstract Scope |
Structural metallic materials play a vital role in establishing a safe and sustainable society. To address societal demands, ongoing research and educational initiatives are necessary. As Orlando Ashford stated, “we are challenged by the disconnect between the skills people HAVE and the skills employers NEED.” The Center for Research and Education of Metallurgy was established in 2018 to bridge this gap. This presentation introduces the recent advancements in metallurgy education programs in Korea. |
