| Abstract Scope |
The kinetic model can calculate and predict the operation effect of simultaneous desulfurization and denitrification process. In order to explore the speed limit and feasibility of desulfurization and denitrification under the microwave field, the kinetic models of desulfurization and denitrification of the adsorbent prepared by industrial waste under the microwave field and conventional conditions were studied by using second-order kinetic model and intra-particle diffusion model. The results showed that the second-order kinetic model could accurately describe the process of desulfurization and denitrification of adsorbent and the speed-limiting link was chemical adsorption under conventional heating conditions. Under the microwave field, microwave activation of SO2 and NO, excitation of water vapor to produce •OH and dredging pore structure of adsorbent provided a favorable chemical adsorption atmosphere. The rate of desulfurization and denitrification was no longer determined by chemical adsorption, and the speed-limiting link was transformed from chemical adsorption to internal diffusion resistance. |
