Abstract Scope |
The synthesis and electrical characterization of compositions based on Nb5+ doped BaTiO3 was carried out using the Ba1-x/2Ti1-xNbxO3 mechanism, and x= 0.001, 0.003, 0.005, 0.04, 0.08, 0.20 and 0.25 de Nb5+ by the solid-state reaction (SSR). All compositions were ground in PET containers with a capacity of 0.5 liter with zirconia balls as a milling means for 5 hours and acetone as a control agent. The resulting powders were carried out a complete decarbonation at 1000 ºC for 5 hours, followed by a double sintering temperature from 1100 ºC to 1500 ºC. In SEM micrographs corresponding to x = 0.001 and 0.003 grooves observed due to of the grain boundaries growth. In the diffractogram x= 0.005 a doublet can be seen at ≈45º, for x= 0.04 the double peak is observed at ≈55º, which indicates the tetragonal distortion of the cubic cell. |
