Abstract Scope |
In recent years, there has been a strong demand to supply high-quality steel products with high productivity while addressing environmental concerns such as efficient resource use and reduced emissions. For this achievement, it is essential to develop advanced and innovative refining technologies and impurity utilization methods that minimize environmental impact by developing the refining process. Deep understanding of the impurity removal ability of refining fluxes and slags, as well as the thermodynamic properties of their components, is crucial. This paper introduces studies on refining performance in systems expected to be applied in steel refining, including highly basic fluxes, reducing fluxes, and deoxidation products. |
