| Abstract Scope |
Capacity planning is regarded as a fundamental basis for production organization and resource optimization in process manufacturing. In multi-line parallel production scenarios, collaborative capacity allocation is made difficult by strong process coupling, close inter- line connections, and complex product structures, and the effectiveness of equipment resources is therefore not fully released. To address these issues, constraints such as equipment capability, production-line capacity, upstream–downstream process connection, and resource load balancing are comprehensively considered. A multi-line collaborative capacity planning model is formulated with the objectives of maximizing equipment resource utilization and minimizing production-line load deviation, and an NSGA-II-based collaborative capacity allocation optimization algorithm is developed for solution. A typical steel process manufacturing line is used as the application scenario. The results indicate that the proposed method can improve capacity matching between bottleneck units and upstream-downstream lines, while enhancing line load balance and equipment resource utilization. |
