Graphene oxide (GO) offers a highly functionalizable and biocompatible platform for bio-nano interface design in biosensing applications. This mini-review highlights recent advances in GO-based biosensors, emphasizing its use in fluorescence quenching, electrochemical detection, and field-effect transistor systems. GO’s large surface area and abundance of oxygen-containing groups facilitate immobilization of DNA, proteins, and antibodies for highly specific and sensitive detection of biomarkers and pathogens. Applications range from cancer diagnostics to environmental toxin monitoring. Integration of GO with flexible substrates and microfluidic platforms is also discussed, demonstrating |
