Symposium Shape Casting: 7th International Symposium Celebrating Prof. John Campbell's 80th Birthday
Organizer(s) Murat Tiryakioglu, University of North Florida
William D. Griffiths, University of Birmingham
Mark Roderic Jolly, Cranfield University
Scope This international symposium will be held to celebrate the 80th birthday of Prof. John Campbell, to celebrate his life-long contributions to the understanding of metal castings, his vision and his friendship. This will be the 7th Shape Casting symposium, which has been a well-attended event that produced a proceedings each time. As in the past, papers will be invited in the following topics:

- liquid metal quality and solidification of castings
- structure-property relationships in metal castings
- Properties (tensile, fatigue, etc.) of castings
- Innovations in metal casting production technologies
Abstracts Due 07/16/2018
