About this Symposium
Meeting Materials Science & Technology 2020
Symposium Powder Metallurgy of Light, Reactive and Other Non-ferrous Metals
Sponsorship TMS Powder Materials Committee
Organizer(s) Ma Qian, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology
James D. Paramore, US Army Research Laboratory
David P. Yan, San Jose State University
Scope Papers addressing all aspects of powder metallurgy of light, reactive and other non-ferrous metals and their applications will be welcome. The following topics will be particularly appreciated: (i) novel synthesis or production of powder materials; (ii) applications of powder materials in various forms including loose powders; (iii) porous materials made from powder; (iv) recent advances in powder consolidation processes (e.g. spark plasma sintering; microwave sintering; powder forging, powder extrusion, powder injection moulding, cold spray forming); (v) functionally graded materials and composites by powder metallurgy processes; and (vi) modelling and simulation.
