Scope The Twenty-ninth Annual International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium (SFF) – An Additive Manufacturing Conference will be held August 13-15, 2018 in Austin, Texas. This three-day conference is a high-level topical research meeting providing the opportunity for AM researchers from around the world to disseminate their research results and to interact with other researchers. At last year’s meeting, there were over 650 researchers from 20 countries who gave over 450 presentations.

Special Sessions. We are hosting three special topic sessions this year:
- Hybrid AM Processes (session chair: Michael Sealy from the University of Nebraska)
- Data Analytics in AM (session chair: Prahalada Rao from the University of Nebraska)
- Binder Jet Additive Manufacturing (session chairs: C. Fred Higgs III from Rice University and Zachary C. Cordero from Rice University)
