Scope The scope is to provide an opportunity of sharing recent technology development of lightweight metals. New theories and technologies about lightweight metals are developed constantly. And it is generally a slow process to publish the findings in scientific journals. However, it is essential for scientists to get the information in a timely manner. This annual conference attracts materials scientists all over the world and provides a venue for technology dissemination. The whole society would be benefited by a symposium on light metal technology.
