Scope The 2019 International Metallurgical Processes Workshop for Young Scholars (IMPROWYS 2019) will be convened in conjunction with TMS 2019 Annual Meeting, which is a continuation of IMPROWYS 2017 held on August 11-12, 2017 at Northeastern University, Shenyang, China. This workshop aims to promote the academic communication and cooperation in the field of metallurgical processing, particularly for young scholars. Abstracts within the scope of refining and inclusion engineering, solidification processing, metal forming, mechanical metallurgy, electromagnetic processing, and welding metallurgy, are encouraged to submit. We sincerely welcome the coming of all the experts, scholars and professionals in related research areas.
