Scope This symposium covers all aspects of the physical and mechanical metallurgy of aluminum alloys. It addresses fundamental and applied research as well as product development, testing and implementation of aluminum foil, sheet, plate, extrusions, forgings, and composites for end applications including transportation (automotive, aerospace and marine), packaging and other key product segments. The symposium consisted of invited as well as contributed papers. Topics include the following and related areas:
